I like to repot when the weather starts to warm up and they are getting ready to come out of dormancy. Even if they did not lose all their leaves, plumeria still enter a dormant state. Length of daylight is a factor along with temperature.

I'll be repotting and root pruning before the first weekend in March.

I should have started mine yeaterday. Probably will get started this weekend.

I know it iw going to be cold this weekend. I too was going to repot. What about the cold Bill?

I used to wait until after Easter, when they went outside for good, but after reading stuff on this forum I did most of mine last week during a warm spell--they were definitely starting to wake up already.

I brought most of them back inside afterward. A couple of larger white or yellow ones are staying out unless temps drop below 40. These are not especially rare or valuable or cold-sensitive. The rare ones and seedlings are still inside in their new pots and ready to go out after our last frost date.

Several of mine have begun to put out new leaves. A couple of the inflos from last year look like they may even continue to blossom this year ( they were very late developing inflos).

I just worry about the cold/ freeze So. Cal is supposed to get tonight! I may repot the one pot with 5 cuttings from 2 years ago this weekend too. Or I may wait until the cold spell is over!

My Plumerias are already blooming beautifully! But a couple of them need bigger pots! Can I safely repot while they are inbloom?

Most people feel that repotting when they are in bloom is risky and could possibly abort flowers because of potential shock. It's probably safer to wait until it's finished flowering.

With that being said, I have transplanted many with flowers and never had a problem. For me personally, upsizing when they are actively growing is the way to go.

What about fertiliser ? Is there a specific kind for general feeding of potted plumeria ?

Probably any root pruning should be done just before they begin their growth .. so that would be around April.

If you're just potting up to the next size, and the plant is rootbound, I do not think it hurts to repot in the early summer. I do all my repotting outside, usually in June. I just don't have the room to do it indoors when the weather is cold (and I'm too much of a wimp to do it outside when it's cold!). By June the plants are really getting going and are putting out a lot of new roots. As long as I don't damage the root system too much, they don't skip a beat.
