Looks like Euthochtha galeator, which some sites call a leaf-footed bug and some call a helmeted squash bug. The IFAS site (link above) says "E. galeator is a persistent pest of dooryard roses. Undisturbed nymphs and adults tend to feed in one spot for many hours; the longer the feeding the more pronounced the resulting injury. This injury seems to be caused by the injection of toxic substances, probably enzymes, into the plant tissue." Nasty.

In the '17 year Magnolia study' they state: The Glen St. Mary’ has a large brown-backed leaf that hangs in a downward position, revealing distinct, attractive veins on the leaf surface. The photos of the tree I posted does seem to have the leaves hanging in the downward position. Although I'm not sure if it is a pyramid shaped tree. And about the 'Majestic Beauty' they mention: ‘Majestic Beauty’. Its leaves are the largest of any in the study, but they also are the lightest green of all but the Aldridge strain with pale green undersides. Also, the growth habit overall is irregular, lacking any particular characteristic form. The seedling selections and ‘Majestic Beauty’ had the largest leaves overall with the smallest leaves on ‘Little Gem’. Cultivars ‘Bracken’s Brown Beauty’, Hasse, and ‘Little Gem’ had the darkest brown backs, considered highly desirable in the industry. ‘Majestic Beauty’, the seedlings, Aldridge, and ‘Smith Fogle’ leaf undersides were smooth and hairless (glabrous), which generally is regarded by the industry as an undesirable trait. In the pictures the tree also seems to have lighter color on the underside of the leaves than some of the other types and I'm not sure if the leaf undersides are smooth and hairless as stated above (I don't live close enough to the tree anymore to find out). No, I am still here. Thanks guys for your all suggestions replies. To be honest I am more on the side of Photinia than on Camelia. It is hard to say, they have never saw any blooming on those trees and leaves do look red . But in any case I think they will keep those trees for now, they will trim but that bush (as kiminpl called blob) they probably will remove it and plant small tree as Yardvaark(9A) mentioned. Yardvaark(9A) Thanks for your design and suggestions. We like the idea of multi-trunk tree in front of the blank wall. As biondanonima said it is weird layout. The walkway leads to the driveway/garage that's correct. So thats why there are no reason for them to walk directly out the door and out to the street. And that's why they don't need walkway from the sidewalk directly to the front door. So the idea is to make this entrance more closed from the public. To plant plants in order cover the ugly layout and huge wall, make some privacy. Because the entrance is facing the main road and it is a corner house. There are used to be two huge oak trees in front of the house. When they moved in they had to cut it because they were dead. Thats why that wall look very weird. Here is the picture from 2008. Once had a friend that had a big tree but it was in her yard next to the house and there was a water leak nearly and the tree slowly drowned. That may not be the scenario here, but just wanted to share. I hope you figure it out
