I've gotten mealybugs under control with alcohol on regular jades, but I'm not sure it would be effective on anything with a lot of crevices. For other plants, I've been successful with holding the plant over the sink and blasting the plant clean with a spray bottle of regular water. Be sure to turn the nozzle so it's a jet, not a mist, and get into all those nooks and crannies. Do this once a week until all evidence of pests are gone. I've also misted plants with soapy water (about a tablespoon of Method dish soap to 10 oz of water, I'm guessing) in a spray bottle between the jet treatments. This combination of treatments worked better than the alcohol. Still, there are some plants that just seem permanently infested. I have three plants that have been consistently quarantined for about four months. They just keep popping up.

The first plant is, I'm pretty sure, an Agave filifera (check the link). The bug-infested pair is a Portulacaria afra (elephant bush), I think, on the left, and I can't really figure out the one on the right from those pictures. Some kind of Kalanchoe, or Crassula? Don't beat yourself up about the bugs. It happens. You'll look more closely next time. As far as whether to separate: I would separate them, on the theory that if one is more easily cured than the other, then I can cut my losses and at least save the easy one. (The counter-argument is that plants that are already stressed by bugs maybe don't need the additional stress of being repotted. Use your best judgment, or wait for other people to jump in here.) I have no experience with the Portulacaria (if that is in fact what it is), though I know they're supposed to be relatively slow growers. So even if you could get a start from a leaf or a tip cutting, it might grow too slowly to be worthwhile (especially since you can probably go back to Lowe's in six weeks and get a brand new one for $3). My many types of Jade are outside in hot sun so they never get overwatered in fact they are truly self contained an like to be left alone. Make sure not to overwater since these are succulants and maybe take a little alcohol on a q-tip and see if it helps. My Jade is always on the dry side but very happy..

Vitorama, I stand corrected again. The Bonide I saw was 'Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate'. Not the Bonide Houseplant Insect Control. Didn't know much about it. It is a systemic. But I love the Fruit spray better now because it is much safer to use. The Bonide Houseplant has the same stuff as Bayer does. Imidacloprid; a class of insecticides that share a common mode of action that affect the central nervous system of insects. I purchased a gallon of imidacloprid that will last me a life time. Just a small percentage is used in those products. I think the FDA is trying to ban it due to it's toxic effect on anything that ingest it. Can not use it on any Fruit or vegetables due to it's systemic effect. It kills bees and good insects that eat the affected ones. For my house plants it is fine but not for outside on flowers or even my roses.
