could somebody please give me some good news? this spear started this about 2 days ago. kinda just opened right down the middle of the spear. is this normal? will this spear die? will it affect the rest of the tree or the other upcoming spears? we have gotten rain lately and temps down to about 30 in the recent week or so, and the tree has been moved around some lately (potted palm). any encouraging words would be appreciated. thank you.
