It sure pays to read carefully , when seeing those "common names" and I guess if someone is expecting regular coconuts on those other ones , they might have a surprise comming, though the plants are pretty. Of course they'd not flower or fruit indoors , if someone is trying to grow them in an indoor environment most likely, short of having a conservatory with very tall ceilings. Of course the clincher is reading the botanical names as well, when included and without that name "Cocos" they're not true coconuts of course. I guess there are two genera that have coconut as a part of the common name, and those being Lodoidea, and the other the forest coconut or Voanioala. My gosh that second one, even to copy the name or pronouce it is a "trick" for me, since it just doesn't compute! It would be nice, if they'd start making those botanical names much easier to pronounce and especially to spell. Sadists those "taxonomists" are!!
