Well, here we are half-way through May and, even though it has been cooler than usual, more flowers continue to bloom. So, y'all, what's blooming at your place?

At our house, the following are in bloom:

In the garden beds that surround the house:

Climbing red roses

David Austin English roses

Popppies (everywhere!)

Larkspur

Pink Evening Primroses

Salvia farinacea

Salvia coccinea

Malva zebrina

Malva Bibor Felho

Verbena bonariensis

Black-eyed Susans

In the cottage-style border around the veggie garden (they are a mix of veggies, herbs, and flowers) and also as companion plants in the raised veggie beds:

Chamomile

Poppies

Verbena bonariensis

Salvia coccinea

Salvia farinacea

Veronica

Begonias

Profusion zinnias (orange, pink)

Chives

Marigolds (orange, yellow, and orange/dk. orange bicolors)

Honeysuckle "Pink Lemonade"

Celosia

Parsley

Borage

Laura Bush Petunia (purple)

Laura Bush Pink Petunia

Petunia, Purple Madness (I think)

Petunia, Red Madness (I think)

Nasturtiums, Caribbean Cocktail and Caribbean Crush

Dianthus

Yarrow

About to bloom any day now: Hollyhocks

In the pasture: all kinds of wildflowers, esp. Indian Paintbrush.

No sign of blooms yet from Desert Willow or Chaste Tree.

Also blooming in the veggie gardens: tomatoes, peppers, potatoes.

That's all I can think of right now.
