all my friends, family and neighbors save pots for me when they buy new stuff in spring and fall. It is amazing what you can come up with if you just ask. A couple of years ago I bought some nice 3 gallon plastic pots at the dollar store for $1 each. Also just this past November a good friends parents moved into an assisted living facility and I got all their outdoor pots, must have been like 30-40 of them. I am all ready to go for springtime. Pot 'em up.

I always ask everybody to save them for me,but they always say I forgot!!!!
Yep dollar stores a good place,but they never carry as many as I need!

Just get mine from the local nurserys.

Here's an ebay seller with a good selection. Shipping prices is what makes these things so high. If you can find a local nursery supply in your area you'll save a bunch of money.

I am in need of the next size up from a 25gal.pot. Just a frowers pot is what I want. Anyone know the next size and where I can get one. Need to repot my pindo palm this spring. The one its in now is splitting from the roots..Thanks,,Bill

I think the next size up from a 25 gallon is those 2x2 wooden boxes. I've never seen anything bigger than 25, in fact, I bought a big needle palm in a 25, and was almost bewildered looking at the size of that. I did see some huge pots at Meijer, maybe 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall, but first time I ever saw one that big.

I just save all the pots I get throughout the spring/summer when I buy my plants, it feels like such a waste to throw them away instead of reusing them. I also saw the ones at the dollar store, maybe Dollar Tree?

Ok,update on what I've been able to figure out so far.
Mega greenhouse store has them 1gallon black pots $14.04,for 60 pots but are currently out of stock.$9 shipping

Growing Solutions,if you buy 100,you can get them for 31 cents a piece.

AM Leonard,I couldn't figure out the price system,or how they were even listing them for sale,didn't understand what the size were and how many for what price,it was all confusing to me.

It might sound crazy but the local landfill is a good place to get free pots.I have gotten hundreds if not thousands from there for free.I have picked up 1 gal up to 40 gal for free and usually several at a time. You might want to clean them with bleach to kill any disease.
