Blc. Dora Louise Capen 'Lea' AM/AOS

Here is my favorite red-flared yellow! Just as Blc. Toshie Aoki "Pizzaz" is going out of bloom, Dora takes over the yellow w/red lip department!

Blc. Dora Louise Capen "Lea" AM/AOS seems to be a much more vigorous grower than Toshie Aoki, under the same conditions.

The color of the flowers are true in the longer shot. I don't know why the top of the lip turned fuschia in the lower photo.

    It is nice to see that the plant blooms with the same intensity as the vendor's photos. Too often they are different.

    By the way the reason your second photo went to fushia is that it is over exposed. If you have editing software darken the photo and the colors will match the top photo.

    Gorgeous! Mine opened three blooms yesterday and has more to come. September was when it bloomed last year too.
