I would like to focus some of my photographic time towards revisiting the The Classics. They are sometimes referred to as "The Common".

I consider them to be the Heburn's, the Dietrich's and the Davis's of Orchids....

Hi Olya,
In my top 3 favourites! Up here they are easy to to grow, yielding large, long lasting flowers. I grow them in higher light. Better results. Some smell like cinamon and some don't have a fragrance. deppi is not fragrant. This plant is at 20 flowers, many more coming.

The best part about the deciduous lycaste's is they are almost no maintenance in winter and their large leaves go away. I find the species easier than the hybrids. My locusta is about ready to bloom:-). Can't wait!
