I have small quantities (damn drought!) of: Salvia guarantica (the species, cobalt-blue blooms, from cuttings) Salvia transylvanica (seedlings, will bloom next year) Tricyrtis latifolia (decent sized first-year seedlings) blue mophead hydrangea (not sure of variety, Niko maybe? gallon-sized plants from cuttings that should bloom next year) Columbines (seedlings of "Ruby Port" and "Nora Barlow," but as promiscuously as they cross I make no guarantees) Armeria maritima (sea thrift--pink blooms) Sedum "Vera Jameson" (from cuttings) Aster tongolensis (East India aster--divisions; this aster has compact foliage, blooms in late May) Geranium "Claridge Druce" daylilies (undistinguished seedlings, some tall in red/orange shades, some short yellows, probably Stella D'Oro offsprings) ditchlilies (could dig if anyone really wants them) Steven

Like Polygonum, I too can come this Sunday or either day next weekend, but with this weather I'm inclined to vote for next weekend! It's lookin' like tomorrow may not even get out of the 30's, and with the last couple COLD nites, and looking like Saturday nite is gonna be in the mid/low 20's, even if it does eventually get up to the mid 50's on Sunday it's gonna take a long time to get there, and the ground is gonna be (freakin') cold if we're trying to work on the daylilies! As of now NOAA is showing 60's for next Friday, and it's kinda hard to imagine it'll be any colder than what we have coming up right now. And if we were to postpone it till next weekend, if Saturday, possibly Amester and Kvenkat could come too. And with this few coming, it should be fairly easy to change the date--I'm assuming the few people that are planning to come will be checking in here for the latest info! What does everybody think? I have to admit that if it's "that" cold I probably won't be inclined to stay very long to help with the daylilies! My hands get COLD fast! I realized today that I had forgotten to dig up some of the 'Black Scallop' Ajuga so I went out to get some--and my hands were pretty much "unusably" cold within about five minutes! Hard to tell what it'll be like, and if it does get up to 55 and the sun's out on Sunday, that should make it "comfortable" at least, but if everything is wet--the daylilies and soil--that kind of changes the mitigating effects of the sun. Again, what does everybody else think? I have everything ready to go, and since a lot of it is bare root it would actually be easier for me to "get rid of it" sooner rather than later--but as long as I keep everything cold it should be fine until next weekend--and I'm inclined to think we'll enjoy the swap--and helping with the daylilies--more if it's warmer out! Because of what I've decided to bring--FOOD--I do need to know by about midday tomorrow (Saturday) if it's gonna be this Sunday, 'cause it's gonna take me some time, baking and "putting together," to get my "sweet" ready to go! Hi All, I got the pkg. ready to go to Beth DC #0305 1720 0002 5542 3155. I'll be going to the post office this afternoon. I took out 16 pkts. and added 120 pkts. So all you ladies will have a good start to the second go round. I ran out of paper pkts., so thank you to whomever put some in there because I used them : ) I took the garden book, thank you to whomever put that in there. The life preserver wall hanging came to me broke, but it can be reglued so I left it in the box. I added a few goodies including Kleenex, lol. It is a good box cushion/filler! I still have hardly made a dent in the case Gary won. Remy
