Recent blooming species

Hello, all -

I haven't posted any pictures for a long time - been busy with work, travel, and other distractions from orchid growing. At any rate, here are some species that are not seen every day, and I hope you enjoy them.

Maxillaria sophronitis - easy to grow, and a regular bloomer, but generally has only one or two growths blooming at a time - never gets synchronized.

Eria flava - a real weed that grows almost too well - trails along the bench and into other pots if you don't watch it.

Lycaste cochleata - I particularly like the subtle coloration of this one.

Finally, Sophronitis cernua in bright kitchen window light - a great little plant that blooms on every new growth - usually 3-4 times a year.
