Dendrobium carinatum, for the serious stripes lover

Only the first photo was taken with a DSLR Canon EOS400D, the rest were taken with Olympus C5060. I love Olympus; if only they had a better distribution network, and more models. This plant is endemic to the islands of Luzon and Mindoro.

This sure does photograph well. Don't talk to me about Olympus though. My wife had an ( admittedly quite basic) Olympus and it was nothing but trouble. It was partly that that prompted my trip to England - to get a decent camera.

    I love my OlympusC5060.

Although my Canon EOD400D (Digital Rebel XTi) is an SLR,I think the colors are more faithful and and vivid with the Olympus, which is a P&S. Plus, dowloading to the computer is a flash for Olympus and I think it takes more than 5 times as long for the same download with Canon. Admittedly the file sizes are bigger with Canon.

Well, whatever makes you, tick, stick with it. You've been doing well so far.
