Oh, hello. I am a transplant from Orlando, Florida where I raised orchids and loved it. Now I live 7,000 ft. above sea level,up in the Sierra Madre Mountains, and weather conditions are very different; palm trees grow beside pine trees. The average temperature is 70 degrees. We are close to the sun and have little ozone layer. Rain is heavy for two months in the summer, otherwise the weather is sunny.

Winter period is quite cold, frost sometimes in Dec. - Feb. I am growing oncidiums and paphiopedilums well, but am wondering about other orchid types. Please let me know what you know. Thank you
