If you're looking for actual names, this might be of help! I'm not really sure about the heritage or actual age status all of these. Some of these could be newer ones. I just recently started to get very interested in heritage orchids. I've always been more of a species nut. I still haven't really got into that many hybrids, as of yet! Bow Bells hybrids are older and aren't that common. ie:Cattleya Bob Betts, 'The Virgin' and Cattleya Tiffin Bells, etc. I just bought a Cattleya Tiffin Bells `Orchidglade' AM/AOS. I really tend to go for what I guess are pure species forms, but I've really developed an interest in some of the heritage cultivars. I just don't know that many of the hybrid names. I try to make a note of interesting ones that I read about. I've been looking for a C. maxima 'Virginalis'. I have two different maxima's and have read about some of the others. I have a Blc. Ports of Paradise 'Green C.H.' Before I built my greenhouse it grew and bloomed indoors; it was in a western-facing window, getting filtered afternoon light. Green leaves. I built the greehouse a year ago and when I placed this plant inside it got yellow leaves. Not sunburn, but clearly too much light. I have 50% aluminet shadecloth, but it was receiving morning direct light coming through the (non shaded) vents for about an hour in the morning. A few of my other catts also got very yellow, and once this happens there is nothing left to do but wait for new growth to come in. I moved it within the gh to a spot receiving less light, and it has bloomed twice since last year, both times for about 2 weeks. The new growth is slow but better in color. I also have a Rhyncholaelia Digbyana, now occuping a place near the Ports of Paradise's original spot. It gets more sun and is blooming now. Regarding differences between Amy's gh and mine, they seem to be temperatures and light levels (mine is in southern california, near San Diego). Temps are considerably warmer (currently about 57F nights and up to mid/high 80sF days). For my Ports of Paradise, 50% shade is working well, and since I was able to bloom it inside, it hasn't required high light levels. So in my opinion, this should not be a problem plant for Amy's conditions. I have one comment about the picture, which may help to clarify the plant's problem. I had another catt which I brought indoors from the gh to treat for (what I thought was) bacterial rot. The leaves turned yellow, then brown, then black, and dropped off. One new growth survived. It was very strange, and I have not seen it before or after. It could be a virus, not sure. Anyway, after it looked like it would make it, I returned it to the greenhouse. It got a lot more light in a short time, but it didn't burn. The new growth now looks like Amy's pictured leaf. It got spots on it, looks dark, not reddish or yellow like most high sun exposed leaves. I think that, had I reintroduced it into the gh light more gradually, this would not have happened. Ann

Carol, I have questioned SBOE about the name, and they stick with their label. Could there be two with similar names? Where have you seen Catt. Green Emerald 'Orchid Queen' AM/AOS listed? Another nomenclature mystery!
