Some unknowns needing names

Bought at a plant sale. Mostly green, but has some variegated leaves. Large clump (4 feet accross). Flowers light lavender, not fragrant.

Given to me from my girlfriends garden. She doesnt know (or care) what name it is. I thought it may be fragrant bouquet BUT I have one from a nursery and there are differences: Leaf is larger, clump is larger. Variegation is different. It has large white fragrant leaves.

Got this one from a garden center with a tag that says "Hosta". Bought it cuz I love the streaks.

Dont even remember when or where I bought this one but after searching the Hosta Library The closest one I can find is Granada. The flowers are light purple, not fragrant, small scapes. Hostas is a fast grower. It's in afternoon sun and does well.

This one I think is Undulata but I have read so much controversy about this type. It is a beautiful hosta. It doesnt change its variegation and the leaves are larger than the Univitata.

Yes, I ran out and looked at what remains of my NBC, and that it is!! Can't really help with the others.

"Family-Aizoaceae". Its true! Its a Rhombophyllum. R. nelii seems to be the one that Altman's has been sending out just recently. The last one looks very like Delosperma echinatum, or it may be a Sedum :) You'll know for sure when it flowers.

First one could be Paul's Glory reverting into Wheaton Blue.
Second one might be Winter Snow or another S&S sport
Third is probably Undulata, greening up towards the end of the season. On second thought it could be Whirlwind doing the same thing.
Fourth I have no idea.
Fifth looks like NBC to me.

i dont want to be devoid of a charming personality...

but 2 is summer fragrance ...

3 is the undulata that greens up ... as noted

4 is an old walters plant.. that i cant recall the name of .. or something something albomarginata ... look up 'Fortunei Albomarginata' .. it only has a dozen other names.. probably walters gave it one of those .. like

1.. is that coloration current .. or early season??? old pic or new pic???

5.. yeah.. NBC.. or a young undulata.. looking like NBC ...

your plants are a bit young .. which complicates ID .. keep trying as the years roll by ...

its hard to compare a decade old plant at the library.. with a young plant in your yard ...

Your #4 reminds me of my "My Cup of Tea". Are the leaves kind of leathery at all? The flower scape size and color fits

All of the above pictures were taken in June. The NBC-looking one never changes color, is 4 years old (to me) and is a division from a friends garden. I have a Night Before Christmas and it comes up later than my other hostas. The NBC-looking hosta comes up when all my other ones do. But its just way to pretty to be Undulata, so that's why Im stumped. This picture is taken the last week of September. The one I think is Granada is (roughly) purchased in 2009. I agree with Ken that Summer Fragrance is the 2nd picture (I just wasnt sure).

Well, myhostas database says that Summer Fragrance has lavender/purple flowers. Perhaps you were mistaken when you said they were white. It certainly looks like the Library pics of Summer Fragrance.

The leaves are very thick and leathery but the hosta library pictures of My Cup of Tea do not look mine. This picture is taken at September end. The mound grows close to the ground so its not tall by any means. When I bought it, I devided it because when I pulled it from the pot it kinda separated so I went with it and figured I'd have 2 for the price of one. So this picture is the other half of it.

Here's a picture of my "My Cup of Tea". Mine gets full sun. I just got mine in mid July.

or Northern Sunray

or ventricosa Aureomaculata

or refer to the link.. for plants that start variegated.. and green up in summer .. its called VIRIDESCENT

Ken is totally correct! I bought an AlboPicta years ago (before my hosta obsession took over) and I transplanted it somewhere, never keeping track of where I put it. I assumed it never came back. I have purchased a few hostas from garden sales and assumed that unknown hosta was one of them. Thank you Ken.
