Suggestions for foundation plant for Large Hostas
Comments (6)Thanks for the suggestions! I'll google and learn more about them and may find something else when researching online nurseries. Any online nurseries you buy from that you'd recommend? Also, any thoughts on using bamboo--the clumping non-invasive evergreen type as a background for the hostas?...See MoreIdeas for a screen foundation plant

Comments (8)Thanks for the reply!! I will add another photo with the entire front and the view of the street. I'm not sure about the city laws about what I can and cannot add since it's cities property from the walls out, but I think vases are fine and I guess sculptures should be fine too, they are very strict about the materials you use for sidewalk and what trees you plant, that nook on the wall was actually required by law I have no idea why, most people in the neighborhood plant some sort of foliage on theirs. I forgot to add that I can't plant anything that is too invasive or has large roots that grow large not to cause damage to the wall structure. I love bamboo and cactuses but I think they could become a problem, it's a very sunny spot and I've seen cactuses so tall they damage the walls around here. I'm look at hollywood junipers right now, didn't know about them and they are beautiful!...See MoreLisa_H OK
