Any recommendations for Hardy Yellow and Orange roses?

I am trying to grow unsuccessfully so far some orange or yellow roses. I have Morden Sunrise in the front which is doing great - and if I cant find anything else - I am thinking of planting the same at the back.

My experience has been better with Floribundas than with Hybrid Teas. If any people from colder zones have grown these colour roses successfully for past few years - please do let me know. I want something which is trouble free, repeat bloomer and grows to be a good size.

Harrison's Yellow is suppose to be hardy to zone 3 and is sold by J.W,Jung Seed Co. of Randolph, Wi I have never seen it sold by anyone else.

Dr. Brownell has been doing well for me for about 15 or so years. Kinda yellow-orange-pink, repeat blooming, glossy green foliage. My wife's favorite. The link below is not my plant, but is about as close to mine as I could find googling.

We have a Lemon Meringe, a sport of Westerland, that does well planted against a furnace chimney (warmest spot in our yard.) It puts out a great spring flush, and repeats at the top of its new canes later in the year. Then, the following year, we pull the canes horizontal, so we get blooms along the laterals. Something must be very wrong with my nose because - despite all I read about this rose - so far I didn't find Baronne Edmund de Rothchild very fragrant but it is possible that the fragrance will be stronger when the plant gets older. It is a good bloomer with better than average disease resistance. Acapella should be a good rose, I think I read that it got ADR certificate and that means excellent disease resistance. I do not grow it but Mac Gleason does and I hope he will show up to tell you about this rose. Osiria is a red/white bi-color, supposedly fragrant but I do not grow it. A good, healthy, hardy and fragrant bi-color is Folklore -coral with pale cream reverse.

Here are pictures of some of my yellows: Prairie Harvest (dislikes)= short bloom life & fades out quickly in warm weather, (likes)= reasonably hardy in z4a, good disease resistance, one of my favorite rose fragrances & in full bloom perfumes the whole front yard. High Voltage (Easy Elegance rose)seems to have decent hardiness, good disease resistance but fades to cream color very fast Centennial (EE rose) decent hardiness & disease resistance but short for a Grandiflora, good for cut roses, kind of a different yellow color--I believe some describe its color as "apricot" Tahitian Moon (EE rose) a short climber for me & one of my most tender EE roses, I just mulch it with wood chips & it dies back to the crown, grows back to 3' tall at first bloom cycle & reaches 6' tall by second bloom cycle for me, good disease resistance & holds its yellow color well

I am of the firm belief that Julia Child is the best yellow rose ever bred. There isn't a single negative review for this rose on davesgarden (VERY rare for a rose on that site) and it has 24 reviews on that site. One thing I will say is it's more of a light yellow than other yellow roses (many people here have described the color as 'buttery'). It's also described as having a licorice scent. If you can't find Julia Child, Sunsprite is another nice yellow rose.

Try contacting Sam Kedem nursery. He has alot of choices and would gladly recommend something!

JP Connell, Topaz Jewel, Rugelda.

All these are very, very hardly. Rugelda should get really big for you in your zone.

Julia Child (soft yellow) has done wonderfully here for the past 3 years. Also, Carefree Sunshine (bright yellow) and Autumn Sunset (yellow/orange) have been fully hardy and are all rebloomers. I don't have any luck with hybrid teas (they're annuals for me).

I have a couple Hazeldean roses. They are shrub roses but extremely hardy. Covered in small yellow blossoms.
