What's going on in your garden, 5/26?

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I really didn't do anything in the garden other than water, as I was working on cleaning my very neglected house. But several new things are blooming.

Blooming now:

Marie Hoffman azalea

Wegeila wine & roses

Tradescentia

Lady's mantle

Knockout roses

Clematis 'H.F. Young'

Clematis 'Niobe'

creeping thyme

Allium 'purple sensation' (fading)

Salvia 'May Night'

creeping phlox

maiden pinks

lamb's ear

Heuchera 'palace purple'

Peony 'Krinkled White'

Bleeding heart

Centaura montana

Lily of the valley

I've noticed that the few plants I divided and planted in the last week are looking very sad and I'm actually wondering if they will make it, regardless of watering daily. It hasn't been all that hot, either, at least until Sunday. In comparison, the plants I divided, moved and/or got at the CT swap in April/early May did much better.

Still have a dwindling pile of mulch to scrape off the driveway and spread. Also need to weed and plant the front walkway and get started on the backyard, which I always save for hotter weather because it's so shady back there and, well, I just don't like it as much as my front yard. Right now weeds greatly outnumber desired plants back there . . .
