Pls recommend an oval shaped shade tree for front yard

I own a house with a medium sized rectangular front yard that the previous owners landscaped nicely, so until now I have been able to maintain it reasonably well with minimal gardening knowledge.

However, recently we tore down a 40 feet fir tree from one corner, as it was leaning heavily towards the road. Now that it is gone, our yard suddenly looks bare. I feel our curb appeal has plummeted. On the other hand, my living room now gets more light, which is one welcome change.

For these reasons, I am considering planting a tall shade tree in the same spot, preferably something hardy and reasonably fast growing. The spot will not allow a tree with a crown wider than 30 feet. On the other hand I'm not fond of trees that are too narrow and columnar. I would love a tree that is oval shaped but well porportioned, with green beautiful leaves that rustle in the wind during the summer months, and give us ample light during the winter months.

Of course, easy to maintain in the Northwest climate is a must.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you :)
