loriafopiano, One thing to keep in mind, if you are not already aware of it, is that VLT is calculated using the entire window opening and not just the glass. In other words, two different windows with the identical glass system in place can have significantly different VLT rating depending on the width of the frame/sash, on whether the window has muntin bars or grills, etc. Conversely, it's entirely possible to have a higher VLT rating on a window using a darker coating with a larger glass area versus a window with a lighter coating but less glass area. Just to compare options, here are a few glass-only numbers using Cardinal glass and coatings: clear - U .455, SHGC .778, VLT 82% 366 - U .242, SHGC .273, VLT 66% 272 - U .250, SHCG .414, VLT 72% 180(3) U .260, SHGC .686, VLT 80% I89(3) U .291, SHGC .746, VLT 80% I89(4) U .338, SHGC .704, VLT 80% All numbers calculated using LBNL windows 7.2. I am so disappointed with the quality, customer service and how they go radio silent about the problems. Everything they do is bad business practice. I purchased windows in December 2020 in Portland, OR. They were supposed to install them in March but they came in May 30 which I understood and said OK. Then they told me that the prices we agreed will hike due to increasing material costs. I understand that, too. What i cannot accept is that they installed broken and unpainted windows with many other chips and quality issues and let me know after the fact. Who decides it is OK to put a broken window on a customer house especially when they know it is broken? Why are you passing a bad product to me and charging my credit card $6k without notifying me? Why should i accept touch ups for brand new windows? Even if you have no quality control in your manufacturing site, the installer knows and still installs because he doesn’t want to deal with it and they can charge. All they do is to prioritize their workload instead of the customer satisfaction. It is too disappointing that American made product is this bad quality with extremely rushed installation. It feels I can rip the whole thing with my fingers. It’s been over a month since installation and i still don’t know when they will or if they will fix all soon. No communication whatsoever. I strongly recommend anyone considering them to avoid this company and Insignia windows at all cost. Do your research, see other houses and don’t make the mistake i made.

We paid for our cabinets the week prior to the sale starting. However, once the sale started, we were given an Ikea gift card for the 20% discount on what we'd already paid, which we were able to put toward the countertop. We had to go to the "returns" desk with our receipt to get this gift card. And anything else we've purchased since then related to kitchens has been discounted by 20%. However, we do have to show our original receipt (demonstrating we'd met the $4500 minimum) each time we make a purchase. We are in Portland, OR.

The imagery seems to evoke the 17th century, judging by the boy's costume. Hyenas makes no sense to me. Seems more like very crude deer...? The boy is aiming a gun - perhaps hunting? And it does look very much like linen. Cotton may also be a possibility.
