I dug up a healthy shoot that had some roots on it about a week ago and put it in a pot but so far its still wilted from shock but im hoping it will improve. The previous owners of this house must have tried to get rid of it by just hacking it to pieces but its now growing back alright (except for its shabby looking hackjob) but ive also noticed either a flower or a seed pod on it so maybe i can attemp to propagate it through seed as well.

Xuan, here's some in a shady corner of my garden a couple years ago. We had a number of hard freezes last winter so I had to wait for it to come back from the roots this year. It's just now starting to bloom, but it's only about a foot tall. 2008: 2010:

Thanks, Floral & Rugby. I don't remember seeing any blooms from it last year. And since I cut it back to 12 inches I didn't get blooms this year. I better move it now and find it a better home. It will surely crowd out the other flowers where it is now. Thanks again.

Euphorbia tirucalli maybe? Be careful, sap from euphorbia can be an extreme eye irritant and have been known to cause blindness, not sure if this is one of those buy better safe than sorry. Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands after handling.
