hi. i'm curious if you can make pie out of mayapples.

You can make pies out of the RIPE fruit. The fruit should be a yellow color and fragrant. The skin must be peeled off and the seeds removed. All parts of the plant are toxic except the ripe fruit (minus the above parts). I make a wonderful jam out of the fruit that everyone loves.

The biggest problem is getting enough ripe fruit before the critters get them.
