Trumpet Vine Seeds

Are trumpet vine seeds suppose to look paper thin, literally? Just was wondering if they were or if I harvested the seed pod to soon.

I've opened a few pods here and there and the seeds were very thin as you describe. I never tried growing them however.

Yes, they are paper thin as you said. They should also be brown.

Hi, I would love to have some red trumpet vine seeds and some yellow ones also. Look at my very limited list. I am in the same zone you are in and all my seeds came from here. The passiflora incarnata vines are really nice. They are native to the Ozark Mountains. I have been cold stratifying them now for 6 weeks so they are ready to plant. Soak them for 24 hrs. before planting. I'm including a link to a picture of what the vine looks like when it is growing here. I have been trying to transplant some trumpet vine from a place we don't want it to a place we can enjoy for several years now, but it doesn' seem to like being transplanted. I would like to have some seed. Would also like the morning glory seeds. Please look at my list and let mw know if there is anything there you like. Thank you!
