Insect on Woodland Sunflower

I bought this native sunflower plant in a local Native Plant society sale 2 springs ago. This year I planted it in an irrigated area of the yard and it has really prospered and grown to 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. While taking a picture of the bloom, I noticed there were two insects perched inside the flower head and not moving at all. I guess they are some kind of pests. Since there were only two of them, I did not bother to take them out. I wonder what they are and if I need to do anything about it.

Here is a link that might be useful: Helianthus Divaricatus
