HI I WAS wondering if anybody near here was part of a community garden. I like trading localy (as well as from abroad_) I also Like medicinal uses of plants, and other things as well. SO IS anybody in AURORA ILLINOIS or near by.

Oh that was copy/ pasetd from the comunity garden post I made (why not add it here to I thought.) I didn't know there was such a thing I'd be interested I do have some sunflower seeds I got from another forum. (Im not sure how they'd grow here though since I haven't had the time to grow any they are mexican sunflowers (or called somthing similar) I don't have many though since I got a big envolope in the mail with mixxed seed they kept each of the quanities small.

Eric, I'm not in Aurora but am close to Midway (figure about 30 miles from your neck of the woods) but I am an avid native plant enthusiast with a city size garden packed lots of natives primarily species not cultivars. Currently, I am having to reduce one to two of my native plant beds in my small back yard to accomodate vegetables and must remove some of the plants - some will stay but we're planning on incorporationg some organic vegetables next year. I am actually looking for good homes for some of these plants as I cannot possibly sell all of them to clients - there's far too many. Just let me know if you would like some.
