Chaya a small tree/shrub that grows in southern areas including Mexico is now being said to help with diabetes and weight loss. Does anyone have any experience or information about this topic?

Always a good idea to eat healthy but I'd be very leery about something concentrated in pill form. Hope they study it more.

Gary is right someone in Melbourne gave me a stick,I drove around with it in the hot car stuck it in the ground and now have many from just the break and stick in the ground method! They make a nice fill in quick plant!

They're supposed to be cooked, because they contain glycosides. Not doing so may cause diarrhea. Also, don't cook it in an aluminum pan/pot because the leaves react with the aluminum. Wikipedia/Google Chaya for more info. Good to hear the Fino is doing well. Did you ever get a Misi Luki or Manzano banana?
