Thanks for your work fixing this site Kathy as well as your marvelous pictures of roses on hmf! I gave it a good try but the rose I really wanted (Myrthe) went for $176 and that's just outside of what I'm willing to spend for something that might not survive. I don't know how you recruit the roses you sell at the auction, but let me know if there is a source I can buy that rose directly. I notice a lot of the roses at auction look to be from Burlington Roses as well as other places, so I assume you have generous donations to the cause. I did end up with 3 roses - one that I originally bid on (Mein Schoner Garten) and two "orphans" with no bids that seemed worth a try (Redwood and Arctic Sunrise). I think I'll have to watch that the latter doesn't touch the ground as it can spread easily from tip rooting.
