I think it's a really large pokeweed, Phytolacca americana. If that's the case, you'll most likely want to remove it (which means removing the entire root). Pokeweed is a native plant which folks in this area used to eat (leaves) as a spring vegetable. (The leaves are mildly poisonous unless picked at the proper time and prepared correctly.) Tastes like mild spinach; cooks down to nothing (yes, I've eaten it). Sprays of small white flowers, followed by mildly poisonous, flattish purple berries beloved of birds, which will deposit the seeds all over your property. Each berry has 10 seeds, and you will soon learn to identify the seedlings. Pull them quickly, or you won't get all the root....

Hi Baroo2u56, i think gardegal may have it right iv'e looked up the two suggestions she gave and it looks most like the baptista, if you google baptista plant images it looks the same as a few of them but of course there are different types of baptista but it looks like my mystery plant is one of them!!! finally! It doesn't look quite like Anacampseros - leaves seem to be very thin. But maybe very young seedling? Here is smallest one of mine - just a tip of branch I managed to brake off. It rooted; leaves are thicker and there is a typical "fuzz" visible - but maybe that comes with age:Stem is thicker and center of rosette doesn't look like Anacampseros. I do not think it is Semp either; they have stiffer leaves most often with cilia, and stolons are more 'woody' looking. It may be one of the hardy sedums? - how did mother pant looked like? Was it a larger rosette? Were offsets growing all from mother plant or were there any branches (even if short)? And yes as mesemb said, sometimes other plants could be mixed in.
