Hi, I assume that this weed is native, so I posted this question here.

This weed is everywhere and a lot of it. Please ID it. Thanks

Is the area damp? Any chance of flower picture?

No. The areas are not damp at all. I have pulled them out as many as I could; I did not let them live through flowering stage yet. However, I am sure I have missed some. I will find them with flowers

I fed the birds a lot this winter and I'm going to see this same thing, I'm sure, when it starts to warm up. If you don't want them pull them early because the larger they get the harder they are to pull. I always let a few grow but they pull out easily at this stage.

It may be one of the Solidagos (goldenrod.) Not much confidence in that suggestion, but wanted to bump this back to pg. 1. In Canada? Do you know what zone you are in?

Kummerowia isn't in Oregon according to BONAP. I may have passed by it without noticing it, because there are a few similar looking legumes in my area. I tried searching Kummerowia on i naturalist and it wouldn't accept the name? Synonyms of Kummerowia Oregon has 52 Trifolium species. https://bonap.net/Napa/TaxonMaps/Genus/County/Trifolium
