They don't like to replace seed packs that won't germinate. They blame user error. I don't believe in putting all your eggs in one basket so I wintersowed some and container sowed the rest. 2 of the 3 milkweeds germinated. The third didn't. To be fair this was just one order. But that was enough for me not to do business with them again. I don't mind human error as long as you are willing to make it right.

Yikes Stush! That's kind of what I was afraid of. I've seen on the eBay listings they often say "not responsible for confiscated plants," which makes it sound like it happens at least somewhat often, and that made me nervous. Greg, the big one I'm after is Echeveria laui. There is one on eBay from Hungary with nice coloring that I have been eyeing. I have bought different conophytum,Lophophora,Gibbaeum and Micropterum seeds. Some of the conophytum seeds are germinating and some did not germinate at all. For the Lophophora Williamsii v caespitosa seeds, the germination rate is just 10%. There has 10 seeds and just 1 seed is germinating. I have asked for the refund and the Koehres at first agreed to refund and then later was regret and did not want to refund the amount. I have made a refund claim via paypal and escalate the case to paypal. Koehres later sent the amount to you and portrait as if they have refunded you the money but they sent the amount via the buyer protection ..meaning that they buy goods from you. So ,if you thought that they have refunded the money and you will cancel the escalate case with paypal and they later will state to paypal that you did not send the goods to them and ask the money back!!! Such a CUNNING SELLER !! Sell low quality seeds : NO GERMINATION, LOW GERMINATION RATE seeds! I do not recommend people to buy from them. It is better to buy the plants and then you can collect those seeds from those plants if they have seeds after flowering !! The seeds from Koehres are expensive and low quality. NOT WORTH the time ,money and energy!!

I seem to recall the same thing happening last year regarding the shipping and they deduct it afterwards. I did call to verify that at the time. I have written and complained numerous times about the new website. Yes I have the exact same thing happened and it's more than annoying. In fact I hardly looked through but they have anymore because I'm afraid to have that happen. The only Improvement I found was that the pictures were better quality. It was wonderful when you could scroll from the beginning to the end all on one page. What makes it worse is that now the pages are not numbers so you can't even know which roses on which page. They also used to have a wonderful page where it would give all of the attributes of the various roses so one could compare them all on the same page. I mentioned to this before when it first came out last year but they didn't change anything although they said it was just experiment still. Oh well they still have great roses and it's free shipping.
