Looking for suggestions on what to plant in a area that's sandy soil on down slope along our driveway measuring approximately 75 feet long by 8 feet wide each on both sides of the driveway. Must be deer resistant, in shade or partial sun. For now I have on one side of driveway just tiger lilies but everytime they bloom the deer eat them and all you see are a bunch of naked stems so they will be removed. The other side has an ugly tree stum with a swamp azalea shrub. This area is loaded with these shrubs and they are boring looking. I would like to get year round plants preferably shrubs that are interesting to look at. Height preferably under 5 feet and width preferably under 5 feet. I know I would need alot of them so I am willing to start off with small ones & watching them grow for it would cost too much to buy big ones allready fully grown. Can anyone help us?
