Gardenguru, you're the best! I've done some Goog searching since you posted and was pleasantly surprised. Now that we know what it is, we'll take better care of it in hopes of seeing it bloom. So I've read, the fragrance from the flowers is absolutely divine. It is strange that we 've had the plant for 6 years and have never seen it bloom. Again, thank you so much, Gardenguru. B

Hi Christoper, thanks for ID'ing my plant! It's not much to look at I know, but other than it being a succulent, I was uaware as to what kind of plant it really was (common name, scientific) until now. It was a gift from a family member, and hers seems to be doing well - although it isn't in flower now... I will keep an eye out in the winter months! It's a bit leggy with its very long, trailing stems. I guessed from photos I found through Google that Flaming Katy isn't supposed to do that! I haven't seen it flower - then again I got it this year. I will give it more light and see how it goes. Hoping for some fuller growth soon. It's in a 2.5 - 3" pot right now. Thanks again!
