Castilleja leaf?

Hi,

I started some Castilleja from seed last year and had a couple of plants they were very small when I planted them (less then 1/4 inch wide), and now I'm wondering if they have come back as the plants coming up are in the right spot. I have a picture of a leaf off one of the plants in question. I'm not sure if it will show up actual size or not so here are the details. Actual size is about 2 3/4 inches from tip to tip, I don't think the leaves are coming out from a basil rosset, but the leaves are coming out from the stalk in more of a round fashion, and I'm noticing the leaves have some sort of mite or very tiny redish brown aphid on them. Not good, but if Castillejas are vulnerable to these bugs then I would see that as victory because my tiny little plants came back. I did put the plants near some ostrich fern which is also native to MB, I had read that Castillejas are parasitic plants. Here is the link to my picture incase the clicking link doesn't work.
