need plant name!!

I'm looking for the name of a plant that grows 1-2 meters high. This plant has long, thin, elliptical leaves. I believe rings of 4-5 going up the stalk. There is a flower cluster at the top. Dominant color is pink-purple.

The striking characteristic are long tendrils that eminate from the upper portion of the stalk. Very thin 'tendrils' end in string-bean shaped 'pods?'

Any clues? Seems to grow native to the Catskills.
