I only have two: 'Ice Age Trail' and 'Dorset Clown'. I bought 'Ice Age Trail' last year. Hope 'Parhelion' doesn't swallow him up, what with all the rain we've had, I didn't expect P to grow so fast. There appear to be quite a few solid leaves on IAT. I probably should have waited for a better specimen before buying or is this the best one can expect with IAT?

I planted 'Dorse Clown' in 2011 and there's no reversion to solid yet. Sorry about the dirty leaves.

I only have Korean Snow,and it holds its streaking without need to worry. I have two seedlings from it. One is streaked,just like the mother plant,and the other is light green,with wavy edges,and looks nothing like the mother plant. Phil

I like them in the garden as specimens and also enjoy growing seeds. I've had Galaxy for a couple of years. Keeps it streaking pretty well.

And here's a new one added last year, Prairie Rainbow. You can see one division has streaked leaves and the other is looking very attractive and appears to be stabilizing.

Also growing from seeds can get you some nice streakers. Purchased seeds for this Christmas Tree Gala seedling grown since 2011-

And rarely you get a streaked seedling from a non-streaked mom - here's a open pollinated Northern Exposure seedling -

Nice Pics!! In my original post I should have said 'Sea Lightening', not 'Winter Lightening'. I like those seedlings and I would love to get a 'Dorset Clown' as I like the blue/tardianas and think it would probably make some nice seedlings!

I have a couple of streakers, but got both for other reasons. I did not know they were streakers.

Sweet Standard, is a fragrant. I got it for that. Here it is this year, as a 2nd year hosta.

I think now I have another couple, but not sure. Mary Marie Ann, and Swirls. Both are small though.

Here is London Fog

I only have this little baby. Extremely small root system. Found it in a flat of baby 'Hoosier Harmony' several weeks ago, so I assume it's a streaked version of HH. I'm just planning on growing it for curiosity's sake, and see if it stays unstable. I'm sure I'll eventually buy some named streakers. They're quite beautiful, IMO. Gotta have at least one or two, yes? : )

The only streaker I have is London Fog, acquired 2012. Wanted it mainly for its unusual colour and shape. I really like how it's growing so far.

It also looks different from MoccasinLanding's...Moc, that's a very nice size. It's curious how straight your leaves are but I recognized the colour first...does it change (more or less streaking) for you at all? I'm guessing that its already 'greening' ? We're slower here, or behind.

BTW Woodnative, is that Galaxy in your pic? Very attractive and I have succumbed...whatever the name is of the pic you posted, I placed it on my wish list. It would be nice to have another streaked.

I have Sally and Bob, William Lachman, Fame Game, Ice Age Trail and a tiny Cajun Sunrise. I actually have five Sally and Bobs because I've split the first a few times, and it's a 60-plus inch plant now. The good thing about streakers is they produce more streakers and those streakers produce streakers and before you know it, you have a million streakers.

Jo, so far London Fog is the same. That picture taken June 26 is no different from the way it looked today, July 1. It is almost misty, and I like the foggy look.

This was a new arrival from MITS (Made In The Shade) in May, so I have no experience with its color swings. When I discovered that my Sweet Standard was a streaker, I thought I should get it some company. Sounds like a good story and I'm sticking to it!

M- Is 'Sweet Standard' fertile? E.g. does it produce seeds? esox yes.....except they revert......so you would have to maintain those million streakers LOL. josephine67 that is actually an 'Oome'......seedling of 'Fascination'.

I have 'Allegan Fog' and 'London Fog', but no real streakers. That might change this year as I've been eyeing 'Savannah Supreme' at a local nursery. Funny story, but I actually used to dislike streakers. They looked ugly and seemed like a lot of trouble for something that was only going to revert later, lol.

Woodnative, I do not know if Sweet Standard is fertile or not. It arrived here late last year after blooming time, so this year is the first bloom cycle I will observe for it. It is not showing signs yet of growing a scape.

At Myhostas.be only one offspring is shown. No indication of SS being used as pod or pollen parent. From what I observe, hybridizing with the plantaginea family of hosta can be a bit tricky.

Well well, I did not realize that Savannah Supreme was a streaker. Imagine that. I got it this year from Wade Gatton, because it was on the fragrant flowered hosta list.

So yes, go ahead and pick up that Savannah Supreme, Eleven! You can never have too many fragrant hosta!

Most of the ones I have are seedlings that I have grown. Here's the one I like today. It's a William Lachman OP seedling.

I have several streaked hosta seedlings which overwintered in the ground from last year, but got nipped by a rabbit. One h.'Blue Lightning' seedling is promising and just now develops a scape which I want to use with pollen from large blues.

Last winter I started in November to grow streaked hosta seedlings from seeds provided by Mr.Hosta of Land of the Giants. Here are those seedlings of h."Blue Lightning', 'Topo Gigio', 'Fickle Blue Genes' and 'Dorothy Benedict'. They are bigger than last year's already.

I got last year a freebie 'Powder Keg' from LOTG but that hosta did not survive. I bought this year h.'Justice' at a Hosta Library auction.

How do I like them? I do not know yet. The seedlings which will survive my culls will probably have some stabilized divisions, but it will be interesting. I am interested to create a streaked large blue one.

I have a few but a lot of them are losing some or most of their streaks. Savannah Supreme is still mostly streaky but has a few eyes that are stabilizing into Savannah. Ray Of Hope has lost a lot of its streakiness. Spilt Milk has been dwindling away for the last few years ever since I moved it from its happy place. Mouse Tracks doesn't have very good streaking and keeps making solid blue eyes. Royal Mouse Ears is my favorite. A bit slow to multiply, but it hasn't had any eyes revert (yet) and has good streaks in the leaves. Here it is today getting ready to flower:

I only have one streaker at the moment and that is Powder Keg, a sport from Powder Blue.

I purchased it mostly for hybridizing as I plan to dive in this winter with my own seedlings to see what genetic concoctions I can create. :)

Right now he is small, but mature enough to bloom. Lucky for me I have seed pods within the first year of owning it, so next spring should be interesting to see what comes out of them.
