I love playing with my tree frogs. I go out, and start calling them, and they sing back. I love how nature works. The second they sense water......can be rain or me just watering the flowers.....they start up their mating calls. Isn't that wild? They must be able to smell or hear water and know that their eggs might have a chance to survive, and they start singing. Even if I water with the hose for just a short time, they start singing.

Irawon, And they make very pretty, interesting terrarium pets, too. I kept some that I caught on LI in a 30 gallon long tank with a 3D ledge background, some branch sections to climb and bask on, using a substrate of microfine coconut fiber (comes under various brand names). They are very cute, although aggressive to one another. You can only keep ONE male per colony or they'll fight to the death. I found that even females can be aggressive to one another. I was taking a summer class earlier this summer at the city college down the block. Every single day, when I'd walk home from class, there were 2 Italian Wall lizards on the same exact ledge, in the same exact place, every day. It was cute having "my" lizards waiting for me each day!

I received my box from Drippy once I returned home from being out of town for over a week....It was received but I wasn't here to open it...... What a LOVELY box it is! It included: A bag of Lilium bulbs (so many and I have the perfect spot for them) A bag of Caladium bulbs (going in my red bed) A bag of Park Princess Dahlia's (will go in my flower bed dedicated to my mother and brother) A bag of Freesia hybrid bulbs (going in a new bed that has small hosta's) A bag of Tricyrtis (Toad Lilies)(also in red bed) Ipomopsis seeds and Convolvulus seeds, a hummingbird feeder and a BIG fairy solar powered globe that lights up at night! DH was impressed with the entire box! I think he enjoys them as much as I do. WOW! AWESOME BOX!!!!! It will all get planted very soon, once I recover from the trip. Thank you soooo much Drippy, you know how to pack a box girl! I appreciate it all and LOVE IT! I'm still waiting on something I ordered that has been back ordered so don't give up on me just yet...thanks for your patience and for being so generous! Jaye

yup finaly got it , box looked like it was runed over, lots of plants in perill, the pond plants are more mushi than green, the susies and puple cone flowers, well we have roots we will see..the roots on the daylilys were growing through the paper towels, but they are resilaint, some were just wraped in newspaper with no wet material, we will see on those too...with this heat i dont think half will make it...i was hoping it will rain but no monsoon on sight and i ran out of pots, well ill baby them and see what happens...and it wasnt sent priority.
