You cannot upload directly to this site; you do have to use Photobucket or Flickr or another photo storage site. Some users here, in my experience, can't view photos uploaded to the photo site tinypic (ie. Jeff cannot), so I recommend the other two options. For people who aren't too computer-savy, I think Photobucket is easiest because it'll give you the direct URLs to your images. Once you have the picture uploaded to Photobucket or whatnot, to place it in a post, you'd use the "img src" HTML code for photos... (just remove the space before img -- while keeping img and src separate words) and then place the direct URL to the image inside quotation marks--so "URL HERE" Photobucket should give the direct link/URL to your image if you're in your Photobucket album and place your cursor over the desired image. and, without a space, end with (just remove the two spaces) We have the dumb spaces because the moment you start to type HTML coding here, the site will want to convert it into an image or link, etc.

Re-read my posting and realize it sounds rather prudish... A few years ago we were discussing if it was safe or not to post Gooogle satellite pictures of our properties on the Forum. Marshall wanted to show that he could find one's exact location by the information on these photos. In Photobucket I had a map saved, but it had not been posted here, which included the co-ordinates of our home. It was all harmless and in good fun, but made me realize to BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PUT IN PHOTOBUCKET because everyone can see it. I too like Marshall and smilingly think of him whenever a cargo plane flies over on it's way to Travis AFB. Hey... maybe my son will be stationed there too! Barbara

as Owbist said system restore is a very simple easy to do thing and is not to be scared of, nothing like reformatting at all it just takes your pc back to the date you choose and it is totally reversible if you see that it did not help just tell it to reverse it. YOU must enforce these rules with her now or simply refuse to allow her access to YOUR pc. If she can not treat it properly she should not be using it. NOT removing a usb item using that properly remove icon can damage your pc badly and it can RUIN her dear precious ipod. So if she likes that ipod she had better learn now or she will be holding a doorstop one day instead of her ipod. AND I would with out a doubt set her up a limited user account and allow her to ONLY use that account on the pc, set up all your admin accounts with passwords that she would not know so she could not gain access to them. Did you try using other usb ports and a different cable? Let me give it a shot, here hopefully is two long vines of KP in the middle of a jungle of carnosa and fungii. marco Okay, I tried 3 times using the "camera Photo" just below, thank the hoya gods for the edit option because that didn't accept the pic from my computer. I tries the same with the "Houzz Photo" option and tried it on there. When I chose the pic I wanted the box stayed blank for a few seconds but then my picture showed up. My smart phone confuses me, so I can't help with that.
