Wow. Looks like you hit the jackpot! I've just been so happy that what I planted shows up the following year true to form, after forking out the bucks. I did have a few that reverted... nothing that stayed streaked though.

I enjoyed the life history you have on your streakers. Keep us posted on their development from one year to the next please.

H.'Sew Patsy' unknown sport out of my tc operation.

H.'Reese's Pieces" a sport of June.

There were 2 June's here, when I dug one to give to my nephew then replanted an eye this is what came up. It holds the gold center with the cloudy or blueish cast of the wax over the gold.

Second photo shows 2 that have been completely stable for 3 years.

A couple of unnamed sports the larger one at the top is of unknown origin, the streaky one on the bottom is a S&S sport.

The one at the top has a white glaucus back.

Here is my all blue Touch of Class sport, in the 6 o'clock position of the plant.

This is a picture of my Night Before Christmas sport, it has gold edges and a white center. Note the contrast to the normal leaf, which has dark green edges.

Here is my streaky Gold Standard sport. I found these 3 streaky eyes in a clump of Gold Standard for sale at a grocery store. I divided off the normal section of GS, and planted it at my MIL & FIL's house, then kept the streaky section for myself.

This is my Clifford's Comet sport. Note the eyes which lack the typical green edge. This plant has come up with this sport for the last couple of seasons, but I'm afraid to divide it off for fear it will die since it has so much white. This year it is 2 eyes.

Here is Risky Business having an identity crisis. I found a container of RB at a nursery several seasons ago that had normal RB, streaky RB, and all-green RB in the same pot. I divided the 3 types, and what you see here is the streaky section.

This eye of RB has settled into edge-variegation.

This eye of RB is still very streaky.

There is another eye of RB that has settled into mostly white, with a green edge, but I didn't take a picture of that one.

And here are a couple pics of unknown seedlings (weedlings?) that I have found growing amongst my hostas. The larger gold seedling was found growing under the canopy of June, it is a 2nd year seedling. The other tiny ones I found growing this year.

Mrmiccawber, great idea for a post. I especially like the hosta in your last photo. E.O., Love the 'Sew Patsy','Reese's Pieces' and S&S streaked sport! Buf24, That 'Clifford's Comet' sport is really cool. I'm not sure whether it's anything, but couldn't pass up this sport on a hosta labeled 'Gold Standard' for $6.00 at a local nursery. It looked cool to me. Is this 'Gold Standard',and what do you think about the sport? Thanks, Dan

Wow that is a great sport of the probable Gold Standard, Dan. I'd keep an eye on that one for sure. The color breaks (is that condition called allellopathy?) are cool.

What a great thread. I'm jealous. My seedlings that have appeared in my garden all seem to be dark green (some round leaved some more pointy) except one that is blue. Do they change color as they get bigger? The blue one is the oldest and I don't remember it when it was small.

This is year 4 for a Hyacinthina sport I finally split off last June. It went from 4 shoots last year to 9 this year and there are a couple that are looking comparetively stable. I'm inclined to split this again this year in an effort to get some differing stable sport out of it.

Here is Moon Shadow and it's all yellow sport. I like the sport better than I do Moon Shadow! It is getting a nice wavy edge. Unfortunately, they both have come down with some mysterious spots since this picture was taken...I plan on dividing it off soon.

Here are a couple of seedling that I have had for a few years. Both are going into their 3rd growing year.
