I got the Beans I e-mailed you about from the monestary in Korea. They are called,my spelling translation,Jhak Du Kong(pronounced Jacques as in Cousteau). They are a very large bean and the Color is similar to a light Kidney bean. Zeedman you thought possibly they were a Jack Bean. When I performed a search on this forum I could see that the Jack Bean Pods were much smaller than these pods seem to be,especially in width and the plants were much smaller than this Korean version. As I told you the Koreans use these 3-4 inch wide,12+ inch long pods as we would use Pita pockets bread, for sandwiches. I only got 38 seeds and the Mrs will insist I grow some even though I have serious doubts they can handle my climate. Though extremely rare in Korea the bulk of them is grown in the Southwest part of the country. I'm willing to share but it will be to those who could accept 1 or 2 seeds.
