My hydrangeas aren't making it in my yard :( Help!

I'm really bummed. Three years ago I planted 11 hydrangeas along a white fence. Well, three years later, and it has now become quite obvious to me that 6 of them are in way too much sun. I have a place in my yard to move two of them, but there are 4 of them (2 alpenglow and 2 royal purple) that I just don't have a space for. They aren't reliable bloomers here except with some protection. I'd like to exchange/trade for something that can grow there, but as I've looked through the exchange forum here I don't see a lot of shrubs and frankly, I can't imagine how you could mail large shrubs. Has anybody ever tried to do this? I'm just so sad about this. I guess this is just a gardening lesson for me to learn about proper plant placement, but it still is sad for me to admit that I won't have the beautiful blooming hydrangeas gardens that I see pics of here. :(

I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
