Which blooms earlier. Bluebird or Blue Wave?

I've lost track of the names of a couple of lacecaps I have. I think the unknown ones are either Blue Wave or Bluebird. They're not Blue Billow, and I have bought Blue Wave and BlueBird over the years. I have what looks like two lines of lacecaps, and the best I can figure out is that one must be Blue Bird and one must be Blue Wave. I overwinter them and each year I notice that some will show their buds a lot sooner than the others.

Anyone know the relative bloom times of these two varieties? Anyone know of anything that would identify Blue Bird and Blue Wave?

Thanks.

I just saw this about Endless Summer from Ohio.

"Q: I planted an Endless Summer hydrangea in a big container. Will it survive outdoors over the winter?

Sandy BrothersKent

A: Peggy Anne Montgomery, a horticulturist with Bailey Nurseries, the Minnesota company that grows and wholesales Endless Summer hydrangeas, said she wouldn't leave the plant outdoors. However, she said many people have successfully overwintered the hydrangeas in their garages."

Now you tell me!!!

I've heard Endless Summer called Endless Promotion.
