Daffodils and tulips....novice wants to know now what?
Comments (6)I don't know... I see your point, it's more important now to make your house as pretty as possible to attract a buyer as soon as possible. I think I'd stuff some annuals overtop, or if I was too busy, I'd let the bulbs go as long as possible and then just cut the foliage down. You won't be there to see them bloom next spring, and the new owner will likely want to plant new flowers anyway (or not, in which case they won't care if the daffodils take a year off)....See MoreWANTED: Wanted: Alstroemeria, Peruvian Lily, Lily of the Incas:
Comments (3)hi there, my hardy amaryllis are all red, the naked ladies/suprise lillies are also red. i have a number of daffodils, i think i have some that are white with a pink center. i can get a list of the ones that i have for you. oh, boy, i just took a look at your trade list. man, you have a lot of beautiful stuff! the tulip tardia do not need to be dug and chilled in the south, they are not big, but take a look at them. i also have some heirloom parrot glads that are really nice. these are pretty rare and go for about $9 apiece on the heirloom bulb sites. email me and i can send a picture. it looks like you dont have several of the dls that i have available. maybe you would like some of them? the little orange tex and the rosie meyer are both rebloomers. let me think, i have some dutch iris, mixed glads. what color are your Parrot Lilies? the ones that i am looking for are like the ones that you buy at the florist. open with speckles. i goggled them and there are several varieties, some that dont open very much. i hope we can figure out a good trade for us both. i love big trades, get lots of new babies and save on postage! :-) Tracie...See Morewanted tulip and have lilies
