Moving a large hydrangea tree

User

Sorry, I don't know what kind this tree is, but it's about 8 years old, 10 ft. high, with a woody stem, white flowers that turn pink in the fall. I'm in Vermont. We have to put in a new leach field (ugh!) and this tree will have to be moved, probably in May or June. Any helpful suggestions for survival would be much appreciated. It will be dug up with a small backhoe.

thanks in advance.
