Pest control using Neem oil

Hi
I have a problem with Aphids and mites.
some of my impatiens look very sick and i have noticed thay have green 1mm Aphids and tiny like dust specs mites.
The leaves get deformed then falls off , and there is an excess of brunching that does not really develop.
flowers don't really open but shrink and fall.

I sprayed few of them with "nimpar" something that contains NEEM OIL+ PYRETHRUM

the plants which i sprayed dies within 3 days because of it.

I decided to concoct my own medicine.
I ordered pure cold pressed organic neem oil , and i want to use it.

I am afraid that i will kill the rest of the plants , because the others died from a bought ready to spray pesticide which contained neem oil.

can someone here explain to me how to prepare the neem oil spray in a way that will not harm Impatiens?
It seems that regular preparation or bought ready to spray neem oil based substances might be harmful for the delicate plants.
