Anyone growing Chaste tree with hostas?

I wanted to get this tree and use it for shade as it is relatively fast growing and I love the spikes of bluish flowers (plus it is a butterfly magnet here).

Does anyone have any experience with this tree. I haven't grown it for years. I want to plant it on the edge of my "religious themed" hosta bed. I figure if it is on the edge of the bed, it can't be too bad, can it?

They used to use this tree and berries for the anti-libido action of this herb for the monks in monasteries. It looks alot like marijuana. My sons thought it was when they were younger and I am sure they smoked it more than once. I found that very amusing that those teenage boys were toking away on something that might slow down their libido. LOL.
