I went to HD today and found a metal lathing covered with pvc. The company claim its not going to rust. The bloddy thing was pretty expensive but I'll give it a try. too curious wondering if concrete will react like the galvanized one. by the way tango did you ever pasted the recipe(s) you are using for the faux bois? very nice explanation tango. your so good to us ;o) eventually i'll reach your level :o) I bet a long way to learn is infront of me ;o)

Mel, I got these pics in an email from my DIL's mom. I thought I would add a little saying to each. I Googled and found where 3 are located..... The Crooked House, (the level house) was built in 2004, is an addition at a popular shopping center, and is a major tourist attraction in Sopot, Poland. Makes you a little dizzy to look at it, doesnÂt it ? The Wonderworks (the upside down building) is actually an amusement park for the mind with over 100 interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages to experience. The most eye-catching feature of Wonderworks is the unique exterior. The building appears to be upside atop a 1930Âs era brick warehouse. The Purple House is on Indiana Avenue in Lubbock, Texas. After fighting city hall for 3 years the color scheme may end. I don't know where the other houses are located. Anyone else have an idea???

Mine was my childhood home until maybe 6th grade. It was a big house (well, I'm sure it seemed bigger than it actually was at that age!), the exterior was grey with white trim, black shutters and a red door, built atop a large hill with a retaining wall on one side, so high that the neighboring garage (2 story commercial building) had a roofline level with our yard. The stairs from the sidewalk was a chore, even in today's day and age, I couldn't imagine having to deal with that daily. There were huge oak trees in the back yard, it was a very private space, and we had a pool, my siblings would jump off the tree branches into the pool, I was too small at the time. I loved playing in the leaves in the fall, our back yard would be completely covered once all the leaves dropped. We had a large bathroom, the area with the sink was sunken, and on the elevation was the commode and bathtub, the walls and decor were black and white themed with ornate wallpaper. The kitchen was big, I'd love to have a kitchen that size, and there was a winding staircase going to the second floor, and on the landing was a window...looking out the window, given that we were on a hill, was a long way down. So, I remember as a child I always had this irrational fear that I would fall down the stairs and out the window from that landing. LOL. I loved that house, so many fond memories. Today, that house is no longer there, probably a liability due to it's location high up on a hill (all neighboring houses were at a lower grade) coupled with the maintenance that came with the retaining wall, but I just adore houses with similar color themes.

lol..you sound like me, though I have to say I haven't traced something from a friends house yet but I've done the rest. My friend is redoing her kitchen and she saw some pictures she liked at a store, I think it was Ashley Furniture. She didn't want the pictures but she liked the animals painted on them. She told the man at the store that she did want them but has to approve everything through her husband and could she take a photo of the pictures. Then she calls me and asks me could I paint the animals on some things for her kitchen. I told her I would but she had to buy the pieces to paint on. I still can't believe she did that...lol I won't be making any money on it so I hope it's just balsy and not illegal! I believe if you purchase clipart from pccrafter, you're allowed to use it on handcrafted items to sell. I've bought a couple packages so far. Nightlilly
