Microphyllas and Greggiis slowing down

It's written everywhere in the literature that during the heat of the summer the bush sage flowering slows down. I was hoping that in the slightly cooler east, at least compared to the southwest, that this might not be the case. Alas, it is true. Both the microphyllas, greggiis, and their hybrids are all putting out very few flowers. And while they are growing just fine, there is little sign of new stalks being formed.

Many of you have much more experience with these sages than me. So when can we expect the next big flush of blooms? Some sources say the heaviest bloom is in fall, but when in fall?

It would be nice as a group if we could put together a bloom-time graph for the various hummingbird plants. It would be helpful to all of us because it would allow us to link bloom times together for a full season's coverage. Maybe it is not so important for those with a lot of garden space who can use the scattershot approach of overwhelming abundance. But what about those with a more limited area or budget?
