Misty rain is back today and a few more pics to share.

Queen of the Seas - gotta love the structure and shapes as it unfolds

St Elmo's Fire - never grown much for me

Emerald Necklace - third year and best it has looked

Orange Marmalade - seller said this tc batch was a bit different than the standard, so of course I had to have one - 3rd year and looks like it's finally ready to take off.

Olive Branch - a favorite because color is so different

Spartacus - third year, hoping it leaps soon

Little Treasure - one green eye, rest is coming up strong

Jack of Diamonds - looked good last year and even better so far this year

June - growing in some sun (if it would ever get sunny)

Lakeside Dragonfly - love the soft yellow in early spring

Peter Ruh - moved it a couple years ago to more sun, seems to have liked the move and starting to mature

Thank you guys! Chas I'm always open for suggestions:) about where the soccer ball is I envisioned doing a stacked water fall which would be what you view when you stand straight on with the pond and maybe a stream coming away from it and coming around the right side of the pond and spilling into a different area (if that makes any sense lol) we'll see. pcan, Thank you! I won't finish nearly as quickly as my brain wants me to. with two toddlers I only get about an hour to dig at a time lol. Lotus are so easy!! I have a blug actually from last year I'll include the link...it def. needs updating tho. I'm really thrilled about the blue and pink lilies that have sprouted from seed my mature plant just poked its 1st bud of the season out of the soil yesterday! Lykaon, What a beautiful yard you have...it makes me realize I should really spruce up my edges...mine is way more "rustic", so to speak. I say "YES" to your idea on future hosta beds, you have such an excellent backdrop there for beds. What are your flowering shrubs, Viburnum? Not sure on the Thunderbolt question, it doesn't look quite like mine that I can remember (I lost mine.)....I think mine were more blue, but someone else may have a better thought. Thank you for sharing! Your beds are beautiful! I finally bought Regal Splendor last year after having it on the wishlist year after year...can't wait to see it furl out now! (Eyes are only just now popping up this week here.)

Emerald Stain, a sport of Stained Glass. Thanks for the welcome back, Don. Here is a 2014 photo of Emerald Stain. It has some frost damage and is so unfurling but from what itÃ¢ÂÂs showing it still has itÃ¢ÂÂs nice solid stain of emerald? :-) It appears that the leaves are somewhat lighter when they first unfurl then darken as they mature. Josephines, thank you as well glad you like the name Phil, I don't know if it would be a Fried Green Tomatoes or a reversion? I am not a big fan of the chinoiserie cabinet - I think it takes you away from the warm,sort of country french feeling you are creating. And for sure I don't see it in the same space as that corner hutch. Eclectic is fine, but sometimes too much and too many move from eclectic to perhaps jumbled. That said, if you decide on the cabinet, I hope you would consider putting it on the wall space between the dining and living areas, where you now have the console and candlesticks. I think the drama of the piece will be lost stuck in the alcove. Use the alcove for a built-in marble topped server and glass-front cabinet above, wine storage below, almost a built-in bar. Change the can light to a spot that you can direct on that space, and let all the barware shine and sparkle.

'Olive Branch' is just lovely, and the texture of 'Jack of Diamonds' is amazing. Sigh. So many hostas, so little space.

Ooh! So many nice ones, but I am especially curious about your Orange Marmalade and how it will look. Is it the form that's different (rather than the color)?

Nice pics,Paul! I'm curious though. Your Orange Marmalade look remarkably different than mine. Mine has wide leaves and none of the twisting yours has? Phil

Jack of Diamonds is virtually identical to Tokudama Flavocircinalis - so if you have one......though I have both and happy to have them.

Olive Branch, I'd seen a few times on tours before I tracked one down. Then found a bigger one with multiple divisions at a garden club sale for reasonable. And two are better than one, right.

An Orange Marmalade with more color streaks into center I think was main difference, I don't know how much different it really is, I guess we'll see in a few years as it matures. Though it's very curvy or twisted as it unfurls - I don't have any pics later is season that carry the waviness. It was planted in '11 and leaves burned due to sunny location. Last year we had some 90's very early that damaged the tender leaves again. Kept watering and # of divisions seem to be good, so maybe roots have caught up with sunnier location.
