H & M is a respected furniture builder in North Carolina. They do make a solid piece of furniture. My concern would be the condition of the seat cushions of this leather sofa. Notice the back cushions and elsewhere do not show the color worn off like on the seat cushions. It looks like something has been put on these to remove the color. You can see that this is not naturally a distressed leather. But the seat cushions look distressed (worn). It's your call but I would be Leary of what has been put on those cushions because they look very dry and suede showing. The solid frame is no good to you if the leather is worn out. Once the surface starts to break down like this you could check with a company like Leather Medic to see what they would charge to re-due the seats or perhaps have them covered with a fabric or try to get a match on the leather. ( it will never be perfect but perhaps close) Either way there is a cost and work involved. By the time you buy the sofa and make the repair to the seats you could probably buy another one very close to the same quality new or at least with the leather in better condition.

Ooooooh I could do a lovely room with red sofas, however, I just purchased a linen sectional and furnishings to redo my living room so red right now is out of the question.

Wood filler. 1 part if you think you might want to remove it one day,2 part if you want it to be permanent.
