runktrun, how big is yours? Dimensions would be helpful. And how long has it been there? I'm having a little trouble believing that they will become monsters, because they've been there for a year and a half and have hardly grown at all! Also, I don't think yours looks that bad...it may not be what you had in mind, but I wouldn't call it an "elephant." :) The spacing on my picture might be a little deceiving. I allowed a comfortable 4' of width for it (the depth of the foundation bed). Think it will exceed this quickly? I'm up for moving them while they're small if absolutely necessary.

Thanks everyone....I never even thought of the Christmas card idea! mrmorton... I hadn't considered the shed picture that way, only whether it was a "good enough" picture. But now that you mention it, yes I get the same feel from it. Marilyn, the sled and wreath sound great...but...we had sun and now the icicles and snow on the roof of the shed are gone and so is the snow on the patio. Also bunnies have added their tracks to the snow in the garden room. :-( But I will keep it in mind for NEXT year when we get snow....no more snow this year says me! (fingers crossed) And yes, Eduarda,it is a sled and I do have a Flexible Flyer hanging on my laundry room wall. What a great memory you have! Marylu

RITA; I really like MAE GRAHAM, tooShe is nestled in all the different plants in my Jungle Garden # 2 at the end of my sidewalk.She seems to be very happy there, with a rose on each side of her, plus a Patio Tomatoe plant in a pot,amd WONDER OF IT ALL is in front of her, too. The first two blooms I had on WONDER OF IT ALL didnt open all the way, but soon as this hot weather started every one has been about perfect.No trouble opening now.I just LOVE this daylily. Cindy. Yes,ms Blackie stayed up under the lily leaves till I moved, then she came along to find another shady spot Kathy, Thank you, yep, she has the edge and I just love it too. What is the pickle castor sitting on? Is that a box label? It looks like if it is in good shape, it would be nice item for your booth, even if it is a reproduction, the colors are great! Nice decorator piece! I went back & looked at everything on this post trying to see if I saw anything that would go with the castor. It is not a bottle you are looking for. The pickles would have been home canned & packed in canning jar & then taken out & put in the pickle castor for company so the glass jar would be pretty nice & attractive as ladies were proud of their pickles. They pickled cucumbers, carrots, watermelon(delicious) & sometimes other veggies.Onions & green string beans were sometimes included. When I was growing up they were always served with lunch & dinner(supper- in So. Dak.) I didn't get my aunt's recipes, wish I had as I tried many watermelon pickle recipes, not good like her's.
